CHICAGO: Prism Health, a Chicago nonprofit that has served Illinois communities since 1986, today announced its 2026 Summer Health Fair Tour: a season of free community health events across Chicagoland, delivered with local health department partners.
The mobile clinic, set up and ready
Free care, all summer
All summer, Prism's mobile clinic teams (doctors, nurses, doulas, and community health workers) will be at neighborhood health fairs, parks, schools, and community events, offering services free of charge:
- Health checkups and sick visits
- School and sports physicals
- Vaccines for kids and adults
- Blood pressure and diabetes checks
- Pregnancy support and doula information
- Narcan and safety education
No appointment or insurance is needed, and walk-ups are welcome. Every event is staffed in English and Spanish.
Healthcare where people already are
The tour reflects Prism's founding idea: care reaches more people when it goes to them. “We meet people where they live, learn, and work” has guided the organization from its first community clinic to today's mobile health operation serving more than 2,000 Illinois communities.
Families can find event dates and locations at prism.org/events, and on Prism Health's Facebook and Instagram pages, where every stop on the tour is announced.
